Wishlist #1

1. Topshop £28 // 2. Topshop £28 // 3. Office £105 // 4. Asos £100 // 5. Topshop £16

This is wishlist is a perfect example of want not need, although, sometimes it is quite hard to draw yourself away from an item you’ve been lusting over and remind yourself to distinguish between those two feelings. I’ve ventured into town on a Saturday the past two weeks running for shopping purposes and yet I haven’t came back with any clothing, make up – yes but, for me it’s clothing over make up on mostly all occasions. It seems that whenever I have money I am willing to spend, the shops aren’t up to scratch, anyone else feel this way? I’m sure it can’t just be me. Even if there are a few items that catch my eye, they always seem to not have them in my size or they’re way to expensive… the pains of shopping. Yes, I know i’m being way too overly dramatic, but it’s the way it is.

What would be a wishlist without topshop eh? My favourite shop hasn’t been the glorious place I know it to be in the past weeks, for me anyway, the clothes just haven’t been that exciting, it’s probably because of the time of year… I can’t wait for Spring/Summer. Anyway, I was browsing online for clothes (as i usually do, at least once a day…) when I came across these lovely items. I love the white crotchet top from topshop, it would be a great piece to wear with shorts or high wasted disco-pant look jeans. Imaging the outfit is making me picture sunny beaches with a warm breeze and ice cream, so relaxing…

On one of my trips into topshop I tried on the acid wash denim skirt, I had to resist the urge to purchase it as I knew that I wouldn’t get any use out of it until April (if we’re lucky in England) I’m hopeful that it’ll remain in stock as it is a summery item. This would also fit perfectly with the crotchet top…. ahhh spring please hurry!

Even though i’d say i don’t own an excessive amount, I have a great weakness for shoes. These lust worthy Jeffrey Campbell shoes are heaven (or rather hell) to me, I have a bit of a spikes/studs obsession too and I love black… I just wouldn’t be able to go wrong with these. I don’t think that Jeffrey Campbell shoes are a ridiculous amount of money, especially this pair… I might just have to save up for them.

I love the Cambridge Satchel Company, their bags are lovely! I found this greyish pale green design on asos, I usually stick to black bags so I would love to have this, especially to pop a little bit of colour into all black outfits. This particular bag is exclusive to asos and it is priced at £100, not too much eh?

Finally, I came across this skirt a few weeks back and almost ordered it online, I didn’t though and I have since to see it in the topshop i travel to in my city. I love the pale lilac/pink colour, perfect for spring/summer (seeing a bit of a trend here?) It’s only £16 which I think is an amazing price for topshop!

The items featured on this wishlist are mostly spring/summer friendly but the prices are a real mixture, some are affordable and some are more pricey. I am more of a gothic look loving kind of girl, I’ll definitely still be wearing dark colours in the summer time, I don’t see anything wrong with it – I’m not a big trend follower, I wear what I like. As spring/summer approaches I’ve been loving lighter colours but, when i picture outfits in my head inspired by one particular item I always see myself darkening it up with spiked boots, acid wash anything or a leather jacket, I don’t think I am an entirely delicate look loving person.

Fragrance Direct Haul

Image

I recently ordered from http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk and i received my order yesterday. I have been ordering make up from this website for awhile now and it usually never disappoints. This website stocks a wide range of make-up brands and not only drugstore brands. The products are always a lot cheaper on fragrancedirect than the prices you can find in shops such as superdrug and boots. Just because the prices are lower however, doesn’t mean that the make-up is lower quality, it is as good as you would find it in the drugstore.

I ordered 6 products and this came to a total of £19.94 excluding delivery, amazing right? The products were:

  • L’Oreal Colour Riche Serum Lipstick (in the shade: Radiant Rose S 103) – £1.99
  • Rimmel Colour Mousse Eyeshadow (in the shade: Black Pearl 010) – £1.99
  • Rimmel Natural Bronzer (in the shade: Sun Dance 027) – £2.99
  • Urban Decay Hypnotic Colours Nail Polish Set – £9.99
  • Bourjois Bio Detox Anti Puffiness Concealer (in the shade: 02) – £1.99
  • Body Collection Liquid Eyeliner (in the shade: Black) – 99p

I was amazed that i saved £12.51 on the urban decay nail set as it’s usual price is £22.50. I didn’t buy this for myself though (sadly) as I  am giving this as a gift to someone for christmas.

I have tried out all of the products that i bought for myself except the rimmel mouse eyeshadow and i love the bourjois concealer is really, really good and i love the shade of the rimmel lipstick as it is a vibrant pink rose, i think it suits my skin tone well.

Jumpers & boohoo.com

I have a growing obsession with jumpers. I have never really been much of a knitwear wearing kind of person but this winter i am starting to become very fond of knitted items. My ‘style’ has changed this year, (i don’t know why but whenever i use that word to describe something about me, i cringe, probably because of my old msn name ‘girl_with_style oh the year 7 days.) Anyway, i have been searching around for jumpers and knitwear, this includes big knitted cardigans. I purchased a big cream knitted cardigan from asos last month and i literally never want to take it off, i am completely in love with it. I think that started off my obsession… i can tell my wardrobe is going to be filled with over-sized items of clothing, at least i’ll know i’ll be warm!

I was looking through boohoo.com, on the knitwear section (of course) when i found this (the picture on the left), i was drawn to it immediately. I love the colour and the shape, the material looks perfect. It fits the picture of the imaginary jumper i’ve been lusting over except, it’s not imaginary anymore. I want it, i want it now and i’m hoping to order it, right this second – i wish. The price of this item makes it even more real, it’s only £20.00 which i think is fair, even more than that, actually!

I have ordered from boohoo.com quite a few times and i am always pleased with their delivery and the quality of their clothing, their prices are simply just a bonus.

Studded Shirt

I am obsessed with studs, i love studded bracelets, shoes, bags, clothes… anything.

I put this outfit together, everything is from boohoo.com and all of the items are affordable. I am ordered this outfit, i love it so much. I haven’t used any accessories in this because i think that jewelry is more experimental and changes more compared with different tastes.

Here is a list of the items shown:

Shirt – £20.00 – http://bit.ly/UK2izA (click the link to see item)

Skirt – £12.00 – http://bit.ly/QSKr5z (click the link to see item)

Shoes – £25.00 – http://bit.ly/SFdTD1 (click the link to see item)

If you’re wondering, i made this picture/collage in photoshop and put the items of clothing together.

Online Shopping

Okay, so this isn’t the fashion post I was talking about but I just discovered how lovely some of the items are on this clothes website, boohoo.com.

One of the main reasons i love boohoo.com is because the prices of the clothing are always quite cheap, including footwear, all the clothes are quite affordable. I love how their skirts are always really lovely and good value for money as i have quite a big obsession with skirts, they’re probably my favourite clothing item. I spend way too much of my money on skirts.

I personally love online shopping but recently I’ve developed a bit of a love/hate relationship with it, one of the contributing facts to this is that whenever I find something I absolutely love, they never seem to have my size in stock, it frustrates me so much… especially when I’ve been searching everywhere for something like it.

So okay, boohoo isn’t my favourite online shop, asos.com is.

I just love the clothes on there and although some of them are quite expensive they have quite a large price ranging, some items are really good value while others are way above what i would be willing to pay. I love their jewelry, I am obsessed with rings and bracelets, asos always seems to have what i’m looking for. As well as stocking their own brands of clothing they sell a wide range of clothing from different brands such as: River island, Mango and Warehouse, they also include designers.

Missguided.co.uk is another one of my go to online shopping sites.

I have to say, I tend to spend more money when I online shop as opposed to shopping when I go to town, I just can’t seem to resist.
